We had a crazy request for a cheeseburger picnic, so we set out to make some awesome cheeseburger cupcakes, complete with picnic style tablecloth as the liner for the box. Since they were cupcakes though, they were more like sliders than full size cheeseburgers. They were small on size, but BIG on taste!
The cupcakes were vanilla cake with the tops cut off, then filled with chocolate rice treat patties and frosting was used to make lettuce, ketchup, mustard and cheese. The tops of the cupcakes were then placed on top and sprinkled with sesame seeds and had a toothpick placed through them to keep them together.
